The control of Eddie Kunz is still a major concern of Mets coaches this spring. Control problems ended his call-up last summer and has ended his spring training flirt with the Mets.Eddie Kunz was one of the Mets I was watching this spring. He has great stuff if he can ever consistently figure out that thing called a "strike zone!" Kunz was optioned to the minors. I imagine he'll land in Buffalo... the new AAA franchise of the NY Mets.
I still think Kunz is the future 8th inning answer for the Mets. It may not happen in 2009, but 2010?
