Gary Carter responded Friday to my criticism of his Ultimate Team!On June 15, Gary's Long Island Ducks blog caught my attention because of the choices he had for his "Ultimate Baseball Team."
I thought it was odd that Carter would rather have Jeff Kent at 2B instead of Pete Rose. And I didn't agree with his Omar Vizquel selection at short stop over Cal Ripken Jr. or Derek Jeter.
He responded Friday by saying Pete was great at several positions and Cal Ripken Jr. was a different kind of short stop.
