The Hall of Fame announced it's preliminary list for the 2011 Class. Some of the first time notables include:
- Deion Sanders
- Jerome Bettis
- Marshall Faulk
- Curtis Martin
- Jimmy Smith,
- Willie Roaf
- Dick Vermeil
Out of that group, I see Deion and Marshall being first ballot HOFers. I think Bettis and Roaf will eventually get in, but it may not be on the first ballot.

Can't argue there. Neon Deion was the best of his time and some would say, the best corner ever. Marshall, Marshall, Marshall was LT before LT came into the league. 2 first ballot guys for sure. I also like Martin to get in eventually.
I'm a Buffalo Bills fan, so I'm hoping this is the year for Andre Reed. He has tough competition at WR.
@Charles - Agree with Reed. I still don't know why he and Chris Carter aren't in the HOF yet.
You really don't think Martin has a shot at making it in on the first ballot?
