Dallas Cowboys Replace Stolen Memorabilia

Last week I blogged about a handicapped fan (Butch Franklin) who's memorabilia and autograph collection was stolen from his apartment. At the time, the Dallas Cowboys said they were working on something to replace his items and fortunately, they came through.

Franklin had several of his items replaced. He received a Texas Stadium seat-back with several autographs, a Tony Romo jersey and met a couple of current Cowboys - including linebacker Bradie James. I'm a huge Bradie James fan - he's the captain of that defense and in the mold of hard-nosed, former strong safety Darren Woodson. The entire Cowboys organization did a nice job with this one.

Here's more on the story in the Dallas Morning News.
