Can you name this baseball stadium?
It's from September 4, 1983. Nice looking cars driving by!
Yes, I am borrowing this concept from Phungo's "Spot the Sig" contest only this one is less organized and more chaotic.

Hmmm... I'll guess Busch Stadium, St. Louis.
I am thinking that has gotta be the Vet. Might have been taken from in front of the spectrum.
It's been 5 years but I still remember that black fencing.
Winner - Deal.
That is the Vet. When I first looked at the photo I thought it could be the Vet, 3Rivers, or Riverfront.
I know the Vet wasn't the most popular sports stadium, but it was the first place I saw a professional baseball game. Phillies vs. Astros I think.
I hope you keep this piece going.
My first thought was Riverfront. Then I looked closer and noticed the sloped grassy areas and started to think of The Vet.
About the only thing I love more than autographs is ballparks that I have never been to. I have been to every MLB ballpark but four (which will be six next year, although I have walked the exteriors of the two new ones). I've been to five games at ballparks that aren't in use any more (which will be seven next year) and I've been to games at 22 minor league parks.
Hell, I origanlly started my blog to get used the html aspects of it so that I could start a ballpark page.
Zman40 - That's very cool. I've been to a lot, but not that many. I think I've been to 15 MLB parks and only a few minor league ones.
I'll take a look at some of my old photos and see if I can scan some in.
